Ganesh Chaturthi Festival Decoration

Clean and mop the house and to purify it sprinkle holy Ganga Jal in rooms and all corners of the house a day before the festival begins particularly to the area where you are going to put the idol.
Create a little mandap in your home, used any stage that is raised to make mandap.
You can even buy ready made thermocol decorated temple-like structures called makar from the market.
Establish Ganesh Idol and put it on table or stool in the center of your puja room so that individuals could pay their attention to the Lord Ganesha.
Before establishing the idol disperse vivid color fabric notably red, green or yellowish on makar, or simply clean the floor and place a red carpet or cloth on the ground and set up a wooden or brass shrine where you can put Ganesh idol.
Make exquisite Rangoli in front of mandap or at the entrance of your door.
Decorate the walls of pooja location especially behind the idol with garlands, frills that are colorful and balloons. You may make paper garlands or hang sarees, dupattas or vivid color curtains to liven up the area.
It is great to use green and yellowish theme is the right color for home decoration on Ganesh Chaturthi.
Lights are crucial for festival celebrations, now day’s electric lights are in trend but to bring the joyful look burn diyas or earthen lamps in every corner of room specially around the mandap to light up the place.
Diyas, flower petals, fruits and flowers, place sea shells and incense sticks along with it.
